When did you start your fitness journey?
When I was in my early 20’s I spent 3 years in the military. I ran daily, which I loved, and was in the best shape of my life. I didn’t have to worry about diet and exercise.
What motivated you to start using Yes.Fit?
When I left the military it didn’t take long for me to start packing on the weight. By the time I hit my 30’s I had gained 100lbs and felt miserable. Seeing that 300lbs on the scale woke me up but I still spent several years losing and gaining the same 20 lbs. Nothing stuck until I found Yes.Fit!
How do you stay motivated?
That is where Yes.Fit comes in! I have my medal rack hanging right above my treadmill always pushing me to get in that extra mile or two!
What have been your greatest achievements?
I have lost 50 of the 100 lbs. I intend to lose. I feel better than I have in 15 years and I finally feel like I’ve passed that wall I felt was impassable.
What is your favorite motivational quote?
“Do or do not, there is no Try!”
What are your current short and long term goals?
I’m only halfway there but I am confident I will hit my military weight and have many more medals hanging around my house!
