With the greatest selling album of all time and the mantle of King of Pop, there’s no doubt that Michael Jackson was the biggest thing in the 1980s that wasn’t a Rubik’s Cube. Prince, Madonna and Whitney Houston similarly dominated pop, while U2 and Springsteen commanded rock with their most successful albums ever. And let’s not forget about the “Hair Bands” like Motley Crue, Poison and my favorite Bon Jovi.

New Jersey is the state that gave us Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, and Bon Jovi. So get that hair teased, put your neon running gear on and “Let’s Get Physical”. Oh and don’t forget your walk-mans!
